Pilot program seeks to help incoming Marshall students bond, experience WV

HUNTINGTON — Fourteen incoming Marshall University students visited locations across West Virginia this summer as they participated in the pilot of the university’s new MAP and COMPASS program.

As participants in the program, which consists of the Marshall Adventure Program (MAP) and the Coordinated Ongoing Mentorship Program to Achieve Student Success (COMPASS) and is aimed at student retention, the incoming Marshall students went on a multi-day trip.
